Have you ever dated Chinese women? What's the difference between them and women from your country? A few days ago, a western guy told me that Chinese women are more submissive, I guess I’ve got to change their minds about that.

Sā jiāo (撒娇) is meant to make the person look cute, endearing or deserving of protection, usually done by children, but nowadays, Chinese women enjoy sā jiāoing with their boyfriends, as they find it to be a cute way to show their feminine side.

Is Chinese feminism being harmed by this sā jiāo-type behavior? Or, is the act of sā jiāoing, in fact, an important part of female identity in modern China – like a secret weapon to overcome institutionalized male bias?
